“Composing a secret oasis in the heart of a metropolis.”

The Rooftop Islington project transforms an otherwise unused roof into a garden oasis dedicated to a variety of uses. The contemporary design of the garden was created to reflect a modern lifestyle, wanting to stay within the heart of a metropolis but have the access to an amenity due to the dwelling being a first floor apartment.

The design cleverly combines structure, access, and planters in a unified way. Its spacious arrangement and blue-toned metalwork allow it to be disguised as a traditional rooftop silhouette that is designed to foster private communal interaction.  The frame also acts as an outline zoning  device of the exterior space.
